I have used my modest connections to land interviews with 2 of my favorite authors/internet friends. Now I’m going to go compile some questions and edit my business cards to include “journalist.” …The imaginary business cards in my head. …I should get business cards!
This is the rough draft of the book cover created by Tjie Tsang.
I was given 4 to choose from and this is the one that really jumped out at me. What I love most is the gun slung over the shoulder. I think it really captures both DJ’s reluctant hero status and his fatigue. The zombies are right there! Just shoot them! And he’s like, “Eh, whatever.” It’s perfect.
Since I will be a published author very soon, I figured I should make my name into its own website, even if it’s just a blog for the moment. I will use this forum to talk about all things zombie-related (or perhaps not, as it is my name on the marquee and I can talk about whatever I want!). This will also be the place where I announce stuff…like when my book, The Last Mailman: Neither Rain, Nor Sleet, Nor Zombies! is coming out. (“soon-ish” was the last I’ve heard). I’m currently hard at work on The Last Mailman 2: Insert Fake Sub-title and will most likely have some things to say about that. Lastly, I’ve read a lot of books, watched a lot of movies and made a lot of new friends on this unexpected journey to publication and I am looking forward to sharing them all with you.
